Napoli have joined West Ham in the race to sign Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup this summer.
According to Fanatik, the Serie A giants have begun scouting the Turkish international during Euro 2016. Ozyakup started for Turkey in their 1-0 defeat to Croatia.
The former Arsenal youth star only made two senior appearances for the Gunners, both in the League Cup, before making the switch to Tukish football with Besiktas where he worked with current Hammers manager Slaven Bilic for two years between 2013 and 2015.

Bilic is understood to be a huge admirer of Ozyakup, and according to AMK he’s stepping up his efforts to sign the midfielder this summer, claiming that he and winger Gokhan Tore are two key targets for West Ham.
The 23-year-old midfielder reportedly rejected a move to Serie A with Lazio last week in order to secure a move to the Premier League – the Hammers are the English side most interested in his services.
Working as a pundit for Turkish Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv during the Euros, Bilic confirmed his interest in signing Gokhan Tore, as well as Canadian international midfielder and team-mate Atiba Hutchinson.
The former Chelsea youth star Tore is said to be nearing completing a £13m move to East London, while the Hammers remain in negotiations for the 33-year-old Hutchinson.
