West Ham have made a £16million bid to AC Milan for striker Carlos Bacca, according to a report from Simon Jones of The Mail.
The Colombian international has been linked with a possible move to West Ham for a while and after the club were unsuccessful in trying to sign Alexandre Lacazette from French side Lyon, it seems like they’ve switched focus to Bacca.
The 29-year-old only joined Milan from Sevilla in July 2015 and despite him scoring 20 goals in 43 appearances, they are apparently open to letting him move on.
However, Sky Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan want a fee of £19million for the striker.
After reports of bids around the £30million mark for Lacazette were reported, it seems as if the Hammers have the money to make such a bid, it just depends if they value Bacca that highly.
The only other stumbling block could be wages with the striker wanting £60,000-a-week.
