West Ham have made a club record offer to Marseille for Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi, according to a report from Ed Aarons of The Guardian.
According to Aarons, the Hammers have offered the French side £31million for the 22-year-old but they are by no means guaranteed to get him as Italian giants Juventus are also keen on signing him.
The striker has scored 21 goals in 48 games in all competitions for Marseille this season and has been linked with a move to West Ham for a number of months.

Marseille signed the youngster from Standard Liege for just £4.8m back in 2014 and are set to make a massive profit on him, but they are understandably in no rush to sell him as they hope to start a bidding war for his services.
It is understood that Batshuayi wants his future decided before he joins up with the Belgian squad for Euro 2016.
