West Ham are lining up a move to sign Celta Vigo winger Nolito as they try to beat fellow Premier League side Arsenal to his signature.
According to a report by Steve Bates of The Sunday People, West Ham want to sign the 29-year-old, although it’s not known if they’ll be willing to meet Celta’s reported asking price of £18million.
Nolito has been in fine form for Os Célticos this season, scoring 11 goals in 25 La Liga appearances, a run of form which has seen him be recalled into the Spanish national squad.

Arsenal have had scouts at recent Celta games watching the winger in action, which could be why West Ham are seemingly ready to act earlier by attempting to bring him in before Arsene Wenger’s men make their minds up on whether they too will make an attempt to sign him.
Nolito is likely to be part of Spain’s Euro 2016 squad so any deal might need to be done before he joins up with his national side prior to the tournament.
