West Ham have held talks with Racing Club striker Gustavo Bou, according to a report by Simon Jones of The Mail.
West Ham’s Co-Chairman David Sullivan recently announced that the club’s main aim this summer is to bring in a striker to add to their already impressive squad, but with Diafra Sakho possibly leaving the club and Emmanuel Emenike’s loan looking like it won’t be made permanent, the likelihood is that the Hammers will actually sign two strikers.
One of those strikers is likely to be a major, big money signing, with the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Christian Benteke, Wilfried Bony and Alexandre Lacazette being reported targets.

If West Ham do sign one of those, it’s likely to cost them a sizable fee so they’ll be hoping that Bou can come in and add depth for a relatively small fee.
The 26-year-old signed for Racing on a free transfer from River Plate in 2014 and has gone on to score 29 goals in 46 games for Facundo Sava’s side.
According to the report, the Argentinian is keen on making a move to England so it’s now a case of whether West Ham can agree a suitable fee with Racing Club.
