Winger close to signing for West Ham

According to reports in Turkey, West Ham United have already wrapped up a deal to sign winger Gokhan Tore from Besiktas.

There have been rumours about Tore moving to East London ever since the arrival of Slaven Bilic, however, it now looks as if the Hammers are making progress. Besiktas have reportedly accepted an £8.5million bid for the winger after months of negotiations.

Tore has been in the starting line-up at Besiktas ever since joining in 2014 from Ruben Kazan and this season, the attacking midfielder has scored six goals in all competitions.

At the age of 24, Tore would be a great player for West Ham, his playing style is similar to that of Dimitri Payet and he is known to get an assist or two.

This deal could be announced as early as May if all of the paperwork goes through.

This could be the first signing of many for the Hammers as they look to bolster their squad in other positions to prepare for European football.
