Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi has commented on Twitter about a potential move to West Ham in the summer after being linked with a move to East London in recent weeks.
The Belgian international forward broke onto the scene in Ligue 1 last season with 11 goals in 28 appearances following his move from Standard Liege, but he’s stepped it up again this year with 16 goals in 34 games in all competitions.
The Mirror claim that the Hammers as well as Tottenham will do battle over the £25m-rated attacker, who’s regarded as one of the best young strikers in European football.
The 22-year-old built up a strong rapport with Dimitri Payet during their time at Marseille together, and the Hammers are hopeful their relationship will help lure him to the Olympic Stadium in the summer.
Jack Sullivan posted a photo of himself on twitter recently posing in a Michy Batshuayi Marseille shirt, again hinting that the Belgian could be set for a move to West Ham.

A Marseille fan asked Batshuayi on twitter about a move to West Ham, to which he responded ‘I don’t know, it’s not really my problem right now’.

He’s under contract with Marseille until 2020, and Stoke saw a £21m offer turned down at the end of the January transfer window.
