Mauro Zarate spoke after West Ham’s 0-0 draw with Stoke City at the Boleyn Ground and said that the result was not good enough, especially after the run of recent results that the Hammers have had.
Speaking to the official West Ham website, the Argentinian said that his side were probably the better side, but admitted that they have to do more if they want to start turning draws into victories.
I think [the result] tough on us, but we have to win at home. It was a good match and we did a decent match ourselves, but we have to do better if we want to win.

That the game ended 0-0 was somewhat of a surprise as both sides created chances to win. West Ham had 22 shots, nine of which were on target, but Stoke keeper Jack Butland was in fine form.
The visitors had opportunities to score too, with Adrian being forced to make two late saves from Mame Biram Diouf.
Zarate admitted that he was surprised that the game did end goalless, and also expressed his frustration that his side couldn’t take all three points.
They created some chances in the second and Adrian had to be really good. The zero-zero was not a normal result because they created some chances and we did our job too, but a draw is not enough for us.We needed that goal at the end and we needed to do more if we wanted to win.
