Despite recent reports linking him with a move to Liverpool, Manuel Lanzini looks set to join West Ham on a permanent deal.
Joint-Chairman David Sullivan has made it clear in his column on the official West Ham United website that the Hammers already have a deal in place with the winger’s parent club Al Jazira, and therefore, the Merseysiders will be unable to snatch him from the grasp of Slaven Bilic.

Responding to the recent speculation, Sullivan said:
I know there have been some reports in the media over the weekend surrounding the future of Manuel Lanzini. We have an unbreakable option with both Lanzini and his club, so any other team’s interest is irrelevant. Manuel has been a fantastic signing for the Club and we all hope he can maintain this superb run of form for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for the Hammers this season, and it is no surprise that they want to keep him at the club on a permanent basis. He’s scored three goals in 10 Premier League appearances, including the opener in the recent 1-1 draw at home to Everton.
Lanzini is comfortable playing on either wing or behind the striker and therefore, provides Bilic with a number of different options, which are much needed after the recent injuries suffered during the Everton tie.
