West Ham winger target reveals he would consider move

Everton winger and West Ham target Kevin Mirallas has revealed that he would consider leaving the Toffees in January if he’s still rotting on the bench.

The Belgian winger was one of Roberto Martinez’s star men when he first joined the club from Olympiakos for £5.5m in the summer of 2012, but a poor run of form has led to his demotion to the bench.

The Hammers made an attempt to sign the versatile forward in the summer, confirmed by Slaven Bilic himself but Everton were not willing to sell.

“We also had an interest in Kevin Mirallas but we were not able to get him.” Bilic told reporters.

The 28-year-old only signed a new three-year deal with the club back in August amid speculation he was looking to leave, but he has reiterated that he may be forced to move away if his situation does not change.

“It’s not easy to live such a situation but it happens like that in the world of football. I don’t think in terms of my place in the national team. But in January, if my situation has not changed, I will ask questions and perhaps consider a departure.”

West Ham have been hit by the injury bug this season especially in the attacking third, with both Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho struggling with injuries, along with Dimitri Payet’s long-term ankle injury suffered against Mirallas’ Everton last weekend.
