After starting off this Premier League campaign in style West Ham captain Mark Noble is very unhappy at how the game against Watford went. West Ham have played 11 games winning six, drawing two and losing three currently sitting 6th in the league behind London rivals Tottenham. One of those losses occurred last Saturday away to Watford.
Mark Noble was very disappointed and he stressed this to London24 today. He told London24:
I don’t think anyone expected that.
He said the main reason he was disappointed was not just the fact we lost, it was the manner in which we lost in.
That was West Ham’s first loss on the road this season and Noble said:
It was going to come eventually away from home, we weren’t going to go the whole season unbeaten, we knew that, but to lose in that manner was a little bit disappointing.
West Ham have had some amazing away results so far this campaign beating Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Crystal Palace so to lose to newly promoted Watford was very disconcerting.
When asked about the home game to Everton on Saturday Noble replied:
We will regroup this week and hopefully we can bounce back quickly.
Having been at the club for many years Mark Noble has had his ups and downs and he is confident West Ham will recover from this loss.
