Alexandre Pato, who has been linked with a move to both West Ham and Manchester United in recent weeks, has announced that he wants to leave Brazil and move back to Europe.
The Brazilian international striker is currently on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians but wants to move to Europe when his temporary deal ends.
He is quoted as saying:
Next year I won’t be playing at Sao Paulo, everybody knows that. I hope England or Spain.

This will be encouraging news for West Ham, who reportedly want to bring the 26-year-old to the club.
Pato started his career at Brazilian side Internacional before moving to AC Milan when he was just 18 years old.
He impressed in his first few seasons in Italy, but a number of injuries led to a decline in form and he was eventually sold for a fee of around £12million.
After spending a couple of years back in his native Brazil, Pato feels that the time is right to return to Europe, and West Ham are apparently keen to sign him.
