West Ham linked with club-record move for international forward

According to HITC Sport, AS Monaco are looking to sell Stephan El Shaarawy to West Ham, even though they have only just signed him.

The Italian would be a massive signing for the Hammers, bring a great deal of flair to the already up and coming side. West Ham have experienced an excellent start to the season, with tremendous away form, playing attractive football, but boss Slaven Bilic is still hoping to bolster the side approaching the move to the Olympic Stadium.

Reports from France suggest West Ham are very keen on signing the exciting, young attacker and it’s rumoured that the Monaco would be willing to sell for around £21.6 million. El Shaarawy has very recently become an AS Monaco player, following a loan move from AC Milan. The move has cost Monaco around €17 million. The player has made 15 appearances in Ligue 1 and although performed well, the chairman is looking to make a profit on the 22-year-old.

Stephan El Shaarawy has overcome his injury problems, and would be a massive signing for the East London Hammers.
