West Ham target move for international striker

West Ham are interested in signing Ivory Coast international striker Gohi Bi Zoro Cyriac in January, according to a report in the Daily Star.

The 25-year-old is currently playing in Belgium for Oostende, for whom he’s scored seven goals in his last ten games.

Cyriac, who played a full 90 minutes in Oostende’s 1-0 away defeat to Club Brugge on Sunday, has also been scouted by a handful of other clubs, including Crystal Palace, the side West Ham defeated at the weekend.

The Ivorian striker only joined Oostende from Anderlecht earlier this year, but his performances so far this season seem to have caught the eye of some Premier League scouts.

Goalscoring hasn’t been a huge issue for Slaven Bilic’s side this season. They’ve scored 20 league goals already, only top of the table Manchester City have scored more. However the Hammers have dealt with injuries in the striking department, and adding Cyriac to the mix would increase the depth at that position.
