West Ham winger out for a month

BBC Sport have confirmed that West Ham United wide-man Nathan Mavila has departed the club, joining non-league outfit Aldershot Town on a one month loan deal. The youngster is still yet to have made his debut under Bilic.

The East London club will be hoping that the 19-year-old, who was training with the first team during the Europa League qualification schedule, will develop in the National League. On the contrary, Slaven Bilic’s side have also been linked with a move for a non-league player.

Mavila joins fellow youngsters Reece Burke (Bradford), Diego Poyet (MK Dons) and Moses Makasi (Chelmsford) to have left the club on loan in order to play first team football in the lower divisions on a regular basis.

Following the departure of Morgan Amalfitano, Mavila will be hoping that he can try and break into the first team squad when he returns to Upton Park in early November. He can also fit in at full-back if need be.
