West Ham have been handed an injury boost ahead of their next game against Crystal Palace.
Centre back Winston Reid is set to be fit for Saturday’s trip to Selhurst Park, despite the club’s fears he may well be sidelined for some time.
The Kiwi defender exited the field against Sunderland with the problem, but West Ham’s Head of Medical, Stijn Vandenbroucke, is optimistic that he’ll be back to face The Eagles.
He told the club’s official site:
Winston has been struggling for a while with a minor injury. He came off in the game against Sunderland but we are positive for a recovery for the next game.
Andy Carroll, Enner Valencia and Angelo Ogbonna are also back in training for The Hammers, although the clash with Palace may just come too soon.
If Reid is back, it’ll be a big boost for Bilic heading into another busy period. Saturday’s game is no easy task, given the form Alan Pardew’s side are in.
West Ham do have very good away form though, with 10 points from a possible 15 coming on their travels.
