French publication Le10Sport are reporting that West Ham are one of three Premier League clubs – Arsenal and Manchester United being the others – who are interested in signing Ezequiel Lavezzi from PSG.
The contract of the 30-year-old Argentine international expires in the summer, and all indications are that he’ll leave Paris.
He’s been used mainly as a substitute so far this season, and if that continues, PSG may look to sell him in January rather than lose him for free in the summer.
Lavezzi joined PSG from Napoli for €26.5million in 2012, and has won three consecutive Ligue 1 titles, as well as two French League cups and the Coupe de France.
He has been a mainstay in the PSG side ever since signing, but has found himself as a bit-part player so far. This lack of playing time could well see him look to move on in search or regular first team action, something he could get at West Ham
