Manchester United eyeing up West Ham defender

Team Talk are reporting that according to the Sunday Mirror, Aaron Cresswell is one of three left-backs currently being targeted by current Premier League leaders Manchester United.

Following Luke Shaw’s long term injury, the Red Devils are looking for a replacement, and it appears Cresswell could be the player Louis Van Gaal desires. It could become difficult to keep hold of him in the January transfer window.

The West Ham full-back is one of a number of targets, including Charlie Taylor and Morgan Fox. However it may be Cresswell who tops the list due to his impressive showing last year, and the fact he holds top flight experience.

It is vital for West Ham to keep hold of the impressive left-back. Aaron Cresswell achieved the Hammer of the Year Award in the last campaign due to a phenomenal showing throughout the whole season. The 25-year-old defender has massive potential, and this is one of the reasons why it is important to do all in our power to keep hold of him.
