The Hammers have made an excellent start to the season which has included away wins against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, with several players putting in excellent performances.

However, when asked on twitter about potential departures for Aaron Cresswell, Diafra Sakho and Dmitri Payet, Gold said:
There are no plans to sell any of our best players
West Ham signed 12 new players in the summer transfer window, spending more than £40 million in the process. That significant outlay means the club will have to sell before recruiting any further additions in the January transfer window, according to the Guardian.
The club are now braced for a loss of up to £17 million at the end of the season, but fans can be comfortable in the knowledge that there is no intention to sell at the moment.
Fellow chairman David Sullivan last week stressed the importance of strengthening the squad in the summer:
We thought it was important this season, with the move to the new stadium, that we bought players in every position to create the best squad and team that has been at the club since we arrived
West Ham’s exceptional start to the season currently sees them third in the table after six matches.
