Deal back on as talented forward reveals he’s not rejected West Ham

Ekstra Bladet stated West Ham had agreed a £4.9million fee with Midtjylland for Danish forward Pione Sisto, but he had rejected the chance to join the Premier League outfit

However, Sisto has rubbished the reports, insisting he is still yet to make a decision on his future.

Sisto, as quoted by BT.dk, said: “There are several places (reporting) that I’ve said no to West Ham, but my angle is that I have not said no to anyone.

“Midtjylland know that I have not decided on a few things. My agent has also presented some clubs for me. They are the ones who know how I have responded to these things and I prefer to hold it between us three.”

“I feel really well in Guateng and of course there is a lot of exciting matches to look forward to, but on the other hand, I also believe that I am ready to take a bigger step, if now there should come to a really good deal.”

The 20-year-old has previously been linked with moves to Ajax, Arsenal, Juventus, Porto and Barcelona – though none of these European giants have followed up their initial interest with a concrete offer.

Since making his senior debut for Midtjylland in 2013, Sisto has made 58 appearances for the Danish club, scoring 16 times in the process. Despite impressing for his club and international youth level, Sisto has not yet received a call-up to the Denmark national side.

Meanwhile, West Ham are lining up a move for Tottenham outcast Aaron Lennon, after missing out on Nigerian winger Victor Moses, according to the Daily Mail.
