West Ham are close to agreeing terms with Danish side FC Midtjylland for the transfer of talented young forward Pione Sisto.
The Hammers have reportedly been scouting the young Dane for some time and are now hopefully of pushing through a deal to sign him before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

According to Danish source Ekstra Bladet, the Hammers have launched a bid worth 50 million Danish Krone, which equates to around £4.9m.
Michael Qureshi of Ekstra Bladet stated on twitter yesterday that the Hammers and FC Midtjylland were close to agreeing terms, but the Danish side are still awaiting one final offer from another Premier League side.

The 20-year-old can play as a winger or a striker, and has pace to burn, something few West Ham players can offer the side at the moment.
With no natural wingers in the squad since the sale of Stewart Downing apart from Matt Jarvis, who is in the shop window for the next few days, Sisto would fill a real need in the squad and add a different option.

Slaven Bilic confirmed in yesterday’s post-match interview after our 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield that he was hopeful of bringing in ‘two or three’ more players before the end of the transfer window.
Sisto appears to be atop of his wish-list, along with AC Milan striker Alessandro Matri, both of whom could complete their moves to West Ham in the next few days.
