Englishman Andy Carroll could be set for a new club abroad. After playing in home country, England for all of his footballing career Carroll may be tempted with a move to Spain with Sevilla.
Sevilla are the club interested in Carroll, they recently lost their main striker Carlos Bacca for €20m to AC Milan. They also recently in 2013 lost Llorente to Juventus who plays in a very similar way to Carroll.
Spanish newspaper AS claim the Europa league holders are interested in a loan move for the season as they will purchase a striker later this season or before the next campaign.
However Andy Carroll is not the Spanish club’s first choice, they really want Llorente back as he doesn’t always play at Juventus.
Carroll’s injury problems could also put Sevilla off. However if they do want to go through with this deal it would be a very hard for Andy Carroll to turn down the chance of playing for the European winners.
