Matt Jarvis poised for West Ham exit

Matt Jarvis could be on his way out of West Ham after they submitted a bid, including his services, for Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio despite interest from Derby and West Brom this summer.

According to ESPN FC the Hammers have submitted a bid in the region of £5m, with the England international to be included in the deal.

Antonio’s future at Nottingham Forest has been speculated all summer as he is one of the hottest properties in the Championship. Nottingham Forest turned down a bid from Derby and West Brom earlier in the summer.

Antonio only moved to the city ground a year ago and was one of the top performers in the championship, he started all 46 championship games last season and netted 14 league goals. he has so far scored three goals in the opening four games of the Championship so far as Nottingham Forest struggle to keep hold of their key player.

Antonio was left out of the squad earlier this month as Forest boss Dougie Freedman said Antonio was “not in the right frame of mind” but he did return to the side for their 1-1 draw against Bolton.

Obviously the championship side want to keep hold of their best player and are reluctant to sell, but it is thought that Antonio himself is keen to test imself in the Premier League and would therefore welcome a move to Upton Park.
