West Ham linked with 47 goal striker

West Ham United are interested in signing Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder, according to Neil Moxley of the Sunday People. Injuries to Andy Carroll, Mauro Zarate and Enner Valencia have left manager Slaven Bilic with limited options up front.

The 25-year-old is reportedly available for a fee of around £6million, and possesses good pace in addition to quick feet. As well as scoring one goal in Ligue 1 already this season, the Tunisian found the back of the net 14 times during the 2014/15 campaign.

He has 47 domestic goals in total in the French top tier for Toulouse, and has been at the club since he was a teenager.

Ben Yedder has no international appearances for neither France nor Tunisia, and is yet to decide which country he will opt to play for at national level.

Diafra Sakho is the only recognised forward currently fit and available for selection at Upton Park, so the signature of Ben Yedder could yet be a real possibility this summer.
