West Ham still pursuing a deal to sign Serie A striker

According to HITC Sport, West Ham are insistent on signing Mattia Destro, causing the player to delay a move to Bologna.

West Ham have had a very successful transfer window, strengthening their squad massively, but it appears the striker position is the only one left that requires improvement.

Due to both Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia sustaining injuries, Slaven Bilic is suffering from a lack of options and needs to bring in at least one new forward to bolster his attack.

Reports tell us that the Italian forward has delayed a move to Bologna, due to West Ham continuing to pursue him.

Following Roma’s recent signing Edin Dzeko from Manchester City, Destro’s move away from Roma seems imminent, with the striker having many options to choose from.

Reports suggest West Ham may be able to tempt the striker into a move to England, whilst Norwich are also interested.

Destro is said to be a typical poacher, who would be able to find the net for whoever he signs for. Lets hope he chooses West Ham and is successful with his ‘Fox in the Box’ like attitude.
