Hammers Told To Pay £7m For Halilovic

According to Friday’s version of Catalonia-based media publication Mundo Deportivo, Premier League duo West Ham and Everton are happy to pay £7m for Barcelona youngster, Alen Halilovic.

Halilovic, who signed for Barcelona because he was promised he’d only be in their B side for a year before being promoted, has impressed many when making appearances for his national side, Croatia.

Barcelona and the player’s agent have now held talks regarding Halilovic’s future, and it isn’t clear as to whether or not the 19-year-old is part of the La Liga champions’ plans for next season.

Over the past week, rumours linking Halilovic with a move to West Ham have been all over the place.

However, according to reports this week, both the Premier League sides interested in his services may walk away empty handed, as it seems a loan move may be the potential move. Barcelona and Celta Vigo have a decent relationship, and with rumours linking Nolito with a return to the Nou Camp, a loan deal here may help settle that move.

matchday.
