West Ham are said to be closing in on the signing of PSG winger Jean-Christophe Bahebeck, according to French source Le 10 Sport.
The 22-year-old was being looked at by fellow Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne, but they pulled out of a potential deal because they could not agree personal terms with the winger, as he currently earns around €75,000-a-week.
Fulham, Sunderland, West Brom and Watford have all been linked with a move for the talented youngster, but it appears the Hammers are leading the race to sign Bahebeck this summer.
Once considered one of the best young players in Europe, Bahebeck has failed to break into the PSG first-team, and has only made 53 appearances for the club in four years.
West Ham are in desperate need of a winger having sold Stewart Downing to Middlesbrough, and could be without Matt Jarvis as well, who has been offered to QPR in a part-exchange deal for striker Charlie Austin.
