West Ham are interested in signing on-trial goalkeeper Matija Šarkić on a permanent transfer this summer, according to the Daily Star.
Read West Ham were the first to reveal the identity of the then mystery trialist last week as he featured in a Development Squad game against Chelmsford, and has been working with the squad ever since.

The highly-rated 18-year-old Montenegrin stopper is currently contracted on a youth deal with Anderlecht, and can be signed to a professional deal by the Hammers without a transfer fee, but they would need to pay a compensation fee to the Belgian side.
Part of the Montenegro U19 squad, Šarkić spent last season with Anderlecht’s U19s, and featured in the UEFA Youth League as well.
Šarkić would likely be used to compete with Sam Howes in the youth squads between the sticks. However, all three of West Ham’s first-team ‘keepers, Adrian, Darren Randolph and Raphael Spiegel, are all only under contract for the 2015/16 season. Perhaps is Šarkić continues to impress on trial, he will get a chance in the first-team sooner rather than later.
