West Ham are said to be lining up a deal to sign Dimitri Payet from Marseille, reports the Telegraph.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a great season with Marseille, notching up seven goals and an incredible 21 assists in 2014/15.
Mainly playing centrally, the French international playmaker can operate on the left-wing.
The Hammers came across Payet whilst scouting Andre Ayew and Andre-Pierre Gignac, with the latter reportedly in-talks with the club over signing on a free transfer.
L’Equipe have also reported that the Hammers, along with Everton, have made enquiries into the availability of Payet.
Payet isn’t the only French midfielder the club are moving for, having been offered the chance to sign Yohan Cabaye from PSG.
