West Ham have completed the signing of Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang this evening. It has been confirmed on Sky Italy, as journalist Fabrizio Romano states.

The Spaniard signs on a long-term deal for a reported fee in the region of £4.3m.
The 23-year-old is an Atletico Madrid youth product, but was taken to Italy by Sampdoria in 2008.
He’s gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club since 2010, and has made a handful of Spanish youth international appearances at U17, U19 and U21 level.
Obiang’s arrival is expected to fill the void of departed midfielder Alex Song, who has returned to Barcelona.
