West Ham will rival Southampton for the signing of Lille defender Simon Kjaer, according to a report on HITC.
They quote L’Equipe as to saying that the two Premier League sides are keen on bringing in the Danish defender, who could be available for €10m this summer.
The 26-year-old signed for the Ligue 1 side in 2013, and has made 73 appearances for the club in that time, scoring four goals.
However, Lille are hoping to cash-in on the centre-back in order to be a more active force in the summer transfer window.
Turkish trio Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are all also reportedly interested in signing Kjaer.
