Chelsea Back In For Valencia

Chelsea are again interested in signing West Ham striker Enner Valencia, according to Fichajes.

The Blues failed with a late January swoop to sign the versatile forward, but now the season’s over, they are again keen on recruiting him.

The Ecuadorian has only scored five goals for West Ham since his £12m move from Mexican side Pachuca last summer, but has been used in a variety of positions rather than his more natural striker role.

It’s said the Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the 25-year-old’s work ethic, and is willing to spend a large figure on him to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

West Ham are very reluctant to sell, but would listen to offers for a player than hasn’t quite lived up to expectations, if they can get a large return on their initial investment.
