West Ham have joined a host of clubs interested in signing Millwall striker Aiden O’Brien in the summer, according to reports.
The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland U21 international broke into the Millwall first team earlier this season, and has netted two goals in 13 appearances.
Crystal Palace, Everton and Swansea have all been tracking his progress this season, as well as Bournemouth, Ipswich, Brentford and Nottingham Forest, who are weighing up a summer move.
Now Millwall are relegated to League One, they could be forced to cash-in on the talented young striker who only has one year left on his deal, if a decent offer comes in for him.
Before making his first-team debut for the Lions this season, O’Brien spent time out on loan with Staines, Hayes and Yeading, Crawley and Aldershot.
O’Brien has scored five goals in 10 games for the Republic of Ireland U21s, which is two off Robbie Brady’s record tally of seven.
Should he join, he would join U21 international team-mate, Sean Maguire, at the club.
