Bilic & Moyes Top Manager Wish List

West Ham have made checks on the availability of David Moyes and Slaven Bilic as they search for potential replacements for Sam Allardyce at the end of the season.

The Telegraph say the under fire manager is set to leave West Ham at the end of the season, with club sources rate Allardyce’s chances of being handed a new contract as low as 5%.

Despite enjoying a bounce-back season with the club sitting in 8th place, Allardyce still hasn’t won over the majority of fans, and in recent weeks has reverted back to some of the negative tactics that were on show last season.

Co-Owner David Sullivan was barraged with abuse after West Ham’s dismal 4-0 loss to West Brom last week in the FA Cup, with angry fans demanding that Big Sam be given the sack.

Moyes took over at Sociedad earlier this season, and has enjoyed success following his sacking by Manchester United last summer.

Gold & Sullivan keep Moyes in high regard following his 11 year tenure at Everton, which saw them secure European berths several times including a top four finish.

Bilic on the other hand is in charge of Champions League side Besiktas, but could be easier to tempt to Upton Park in the summer.

The 46-year-old spent 18 months as a West Ham player under Harry Redknapp in 1996-97 and still holds a passion for the club, which is returned by the fans.

“Managing in the Premier League is a question I get asked, not only about England – but mostly – and whatever you say, it sounds not fair to someone. I really like it here at Besiktas, I like this job, it’s a massive club.” Bilic has stated.

“I’m enjoying it big time. But, of course, I would say that, one day, I would be interested in England, of course I would.

“I’ve been there, I’ve played there, l liked it there – wherever I go there. Okay, I’m not a huge star, but I feel people like me there and I spent my best years – and not only in football – there.

“It’s also the Premier League. If we have dinner, and there are big screens to watch, and there is no Turkish game, then we watch Premier League. That is the league that is most followed.”
