West Ham are one of three Premier League clubs offered to sign former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan this month, reports the Express and Star.
The 35-year-old forward has been plying his trade in Japan with Cerezo Osaka since leaving Internacional in 2013, and has seven goals in 26 league games in the J-League.
Forlan’s contract with Osaka expires at the end of the season, and the Japanese side are willing to let the Uruguay legend go out on loan for the second half of the season, and have also offered him to Hull and West Brom.
Having enjoyed successful spells in Spain with Villarreal and Atletico Madrid, Forlan is interested in giving the Premier League one last go before he retires.
