West Ham are showing interest in Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis this month, as he looks to force through a move away from the Liberty Stadium, so reports the Daily Mail.
The France international forward is unhappy in Wales with Swansea, and wants to force through a move to another Premier League club this month.
The 29-year-old appears to be the man man for the Swans going forward, having raked in a record fee for Wilfried Bony earlier this month.
Allardyce is monitoring his situation, and is prepared to make a move for the striker – should Chelsea make a sizeable offer for versatile forward Enner Valencia in the coming days.
Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Valencia’s play, and will make a move for the Ecuadorian if he fails in his attempts to sign Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina.
Gomis was the subject of a number of offers from Crystal Palace to link up with Alan Pardew, who was keen on signing him during his time at Newcastle, but the move never materialised.
