West Ham look prepared to move on from Adrian between the sticks in the next two transfer windows. After a run of poor form saw the Spaniard lose his place in the team to Darren Randolph who has taken his opportunity with both hands and run with it, Adrian’s future at the club now looks […]
Let’s face the facts: the summer transfer window was an almighty failure by all involved. With the exception of a couple of players, none of the recruits have lived up to their lofty billing. In his latest exclusive transfer column, ExWHUemployee has detailed that we could see several summer signings leave the club after just […]
Sofiane Feghouli has had a less than ideal start to life at West Ham. After scoring on debut in a Europa League qualifier against NK Domzale, Feghouli suffered a hamstring injury which forced him to miss about a month’s worth of action for the Hammers. Many thought a player of the Algerian’s experience and pedigree […]
Dimitri Payet has been continually linked with a move away from West Ham following his wonderful debut season with the club last term. He carried that form into Euro 2016 where his play helped guide France to the final where they lost in extra time to Portugal, but it certainly didn’t damage his stock. The […]
West Ham spent the majority of their summer chasing big money strikers, none of whom made the move to East London. One of those players were Michy Batshuayi, and despite having a €39m bid accepted by Marseille for the Belgian international striker, he ended up joining Chelsea. Despite being used in a bit-part role this […]
In a big ‘six pointer’ at the bottom of the table, West Ham prevailed 1-0 winners over Burnley at the London Stadium on Wednesday evening. Despite missing a late first-half penalty, Mark Noble tucked home the rebound which proved to be enough for the Hammers to pick up their first win in the Premier League […]
Simone Zaza will have his season-long loan with West Ham terminated in January and the striker will be returning to Juventus, according to his agent. West Ham were looking for a marquee striker signing in the summer and having missed out on Alexandre Lacazette, Carlos Bacca and Michy Batshuayi decided to take a punt on Juventus’ […]
West Ham star Dimitri Payet is certainly not without suitors. After a stellar debut campaign with the Hammers, PSG came calling for Payet after he helped carry France to the final of Euro 2016. Their enquiry was met with a resounding ‘no’ from David Sullivan who stated Payet was not for sale at any price. […]
On a night where the entire bottom five all lost, it was imperative that West Ham picked up all three points when they took on Burnley on Wednesday evening. Despite missing a late first-half penalty, Mark Noble tucked home the rebound which proved to be enough for the Hammers to pick up their first win […]
West Ham showed great desire and determination Sunday afternoon when they hung on for a well-deserved point at Anfield against Liverpool which elevated them out of the bottom three. It was the work rate and drive of Michail Antonio coupled with the invention and creativity of Dimitri Payet which helped the Hammers overcome a strong […]
West Ham are hoping to cancel Gokhan Tore’s season-long loan deal from Besiktas in January to free up space in the squad – but that now looks increasingly more unlikely. After making eight dismal appearances for the Hammers between August and October, Tore hasn’t featured for the club since his 45 minute cameo against Middlesbrough on October […]
Many had written West Ham off ahead of their trip to play Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. Forgetting last season’s 3-0 win on Merseyside, Anfield had been a notoriously difficult place for the Hammers to pick up points from over the last 50 years. With a make-shift line-up and a vastly inexperienced bench, it was a […]
