Now West Ham’s Premier League status is mathematically secured for another season, some think the Hammers will be ‘on their holidays’ entering the final two games of the season. Rest assured, that will not be the case. Slaven Bilic can ill afford a poor end to the season as West Ham seek a top ten […]
West Ham are already planning to get rid of the failures that were brought into the club last summer. According to the Daily Mail, West Ham will be releasing Alvaro Arbeloa in the summer when the contract expires. The 34-year-old defender joined the Hammers on a free transfer on the final day of the summer […]
Manuel Lanzini has become one of West Ham’s top players over the last two seasons following his arrival from Al Jazira on an initial loan deal. The Argentine was little known on these shores but has emerged as one of the Premier Leagues top young attacking midfielders – but how did West Ham come about […]
One of West Ham’s (unpopular) gimmicks is scouring the Central and South American markets for some lesser-known talents. Who could forget Brian Montenegro, a loan signing from Uruguayan side Deportivo Maldonado in 2011. The striker made just one appearance for the club. The Hammers also signed Jonathan Calleri from the same club on a similar […]
West Ham decided not to replace Dimitri Payet in the January transfer window and pocketed the £25m generated by his sale for the summer transfer window. Slaven Bilic must really attempt to replace the Frenchman in the summer to help build the squad back into a top six contender and he’s got his eyes on […]
The belief is that West Ham will look to add at least two strikers to their squad in the summer, and possibly more depending on any departures of players already at the club. Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi remains Slaven Bilic’s top target but he’s also got his eyes on a younger prospect from abroad. According to […]
After his impressive 2014 World Cup campaign with Ecuador where he scored three goals, Enner Valencia completed a £12m move to West Ham and was expected to be an excellent addition to the squad. In his first two seasons, things didn’t really work out for Valencia who only found the net on 10 occasions in […]
When the summer transfer window opens, West Ham will prioritise one aspect to improve: pace in attack. The London Evening Standard claims that Slaven Bilic will look bring pace in abundance into his squad ahead of next season with no real on the shoulder threat in attack right now. Michail Antonio is the club’s quickest player […]
The 2015/2016 English Premier League season had a lot surprises on offer. It was the season that Leicester City did something that has never been seen before in this history of football; winning the premier league in their second season in it. Another team that made giant strides in the competition is West Ham United. […]
West Ham have no plans to sack Slaven Bilic in the summer and will back him significantly in the transfer window. The Hammers, who were already planning to spend big in the summer, have an extra £25m in their back pockets from the sale of Dimitri Payet while his £125,000-a-week wages are also off the […]
As the 2016/17 season draws to a close, most West Ham fans are just over the moon that the season will be over soon so we can get a head start on preparations for next year. The recruitment was on the whole, pretty poor, but the players who were already here haven’t lived up to […]
Slaven Bilic’s position has come into question this season with West Ham’s form being seriously streaky and failing to live up to last season’s performances. The Hammers currently sit in mid-table but had ambitions to again mount a challenge on the top six and ideally qualify for the Europa League for a third successive season. […]
