West Ham United face Leeds United in the final game of the Premier League season. For the Hammers to stay in the top flight, they have to beat Leeds, and hope Tottenham Hotspur lose to Everton across London. Any other outcome will see the Irons drop into the Championship ahead of next season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side once had all the hope in the world but are now staring down the barrel of relegation. West Ham require a lot of things to go right for them today, but they simply have to win to have any chance of the great escape.

Leeds United may have beaten the Hammers twice this season, but they are now safe in the top flight and the Irons will be hoping the majority of the team will already be on the beach. Regardless, the Lilywhites are no slouch and the Irons will have to work hard to get what they need from the match.

West Ham have lost just one of their last 19 final day matches in Premier League history.

Leeds United have won more Premier League away games at West Ham, than any other ground, winning seven times.

West Ham have conceded 65 goals in the league this season, the worst defensive record other than the bottom two in the Premier League.

Leeds United are looking to their first double over the Hammers since 2002/03, with that season being the last time they beat West Ham twice in the league.

West Ham have scored just three goals in their last five Premier League games, losing three and winning just one of those matches.

Leeds United have scored seven goals in their last five league games, more than double that of the Hammers.

West Ham have to win to have any chance of staying in the Premier League, any other result condemns them to relegation.
