West Ham United host Everton at the London Stadium, looking to take another huge step in the Premier League survival fight. The Hammers are coming off a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace and want to build on it with a win at home over the Toffees.

Tottenham Hotspur, who sit two points below West Ham in the relegation zone, head to already relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Hammers beat Wolves two weeks ago, but will be hoping they can do them a favour and stop Spurs from picking up points.

Nottingham Forest beat Sunderland 5-0 on Friday night, taking them further away from the bottom three. The emphatic victory now means Forest sit on 39 points, six above the Hammers and eight above the relegation zone.

Alan Shearer gives verdict on West Ham’s huge weekend

Former England and Newcastle United forward Alan Shearer, backed Nottingham Forest to get a point against Sunderland last night and states he think’s Spurs are doomed if they don’t win at Molineux.

“It is an absolute must-win for Spurs. I do believe with the belief they might have picked up last weekend, whether it was from their performance or West Ham not winning at Palace, I think that will give them great encouragement.” said Shearer.

“Had it been the other way, then I think they would be doomed. I think if they lose this weekend then they will go down. Considering Wolves are already down, I am going to tip Spurs to win for the first time in a long time.”

However, Shearer does not think West Ham will beat Everton, keeping things tight in the survival scrap.

“Everton are a really good side, especially away from home, they’ve got a good record. It is a tough one for West Ham, who are desperate to win.

“They will be at home, but I am not sure they will have enough to win it, so I am going to say a draw.”
