- West Ham are interested in FC Midtjylland’s Franculino
- Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the player
- Real Betis are also interested
West Ham United are deep in a survival battle this season but it has not stopped the club from planning for a huge summer ahead. The Hammers are determined to avoid another situation like the one they are in, and are looking at who to bring in to change the team for next season.
Should West Ham stay up, there will be a turnover of players as they look to regroup and balance the books. Securing the services of Axel Disasi is top of the list but the Hammers also have their eyes elsewhere, with bringing in another forward also at the top of the list.
According to Estadio Deportivo, West Ham are interested in FC Midtjylland forward Franculino. The Irons join fellow Premier League sides Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United in monitoring the player, whilst Real Betis also have the 21-year-old on their radar.
Who is Franculino?
21-year-old Franculino is a forward that is beginning to make a name for himself in Denmark. The Guinea-Bissau front man has netted 22 goals for the Midtjylland this season, putting his name on the radar of multiple clubs in Europe’s top five leagues.
Franculino’s 2025/26 FC Midtjylland Statistics
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 32 | 22 | 3 |
The left-footed attacker is going from strength-to-strength and at just 21, looks set to take on the big stage as his development continues. A big bodied, yet pacy and versatile player, Franculino can play in a number of attacking positions but is often deployed a loan striker.
The problem for West Ham is, that with a profile like that, their are many suitors for the striker. Should the Hammers stay up, they face fierce competition from the rest of the Premier League and Europe.
What Nuno Esprito Santo and the Hammers can offer that other’s can’t, is guaranteed football. The Irons have the stage and team to do so, without making the youngster sit on the bench.
There is a lot of football left to be player but Franculino is firmly on the radar of Nuno’s side.
