Ref watch: Match Officials confirmed for West Ham vs Brentford

West Ham United host Brentford in the FA Cup on Monday night, on the back of big win in the Premier League. Nuno Espirito Santo’s team secured a 1-0 win over Fulham on Wednesday night, thanks to a Crysencio Summerville goal that helps them take a huge stride in the survival fight.

Nuno’s team host Keith Andrew’s Bees hoping to keep the momentum going. Brentford are chasing Europe this season and with other things on their mind, the Hammers will hope they can make them slip up to continue their winning run.

Andy Madley has been a part of the PGMOL’s top group since 2019 and he will take charge of West ham‘s game with Brentford on Monday.

The 42-year-old first managed in the Premier League in 2018, when he oversaw Watford’s 2-2 draw with AFC Bournemouth.

Madley has been in the middles for 128 top flight matches, including ten involving West Ham. The referee’s most recent game overseeing the Hammers was coincidently against Brentford in late 2025, Nuno’s first game in charge of the Iron’s.

Craig Taylor and Marc Perry will serve as the assistant referee’s in this game, alongside Madley.

Taylor has run the line in 44 Premier League games dating to 2023. He has been involved in two West Ham games in that time, one being the 2-1 home victory over Manchester United last season.

Perry is a veteran of the top flight scene, having run the line at over 300 Premier League games. This season he has covered several Hammers games including Leeds United, Manchester City and Liverpool away, as well as Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion at home.

Will Finnie will serve as the fourth official on Monday night.

This will be Finnie’s first match involving West Ham. The referee made his Championship debut in 2024 in the Championship, during Millwall’s 3-1 win over Cardiff City after spending over 100 games in the EFL’s League One and League Two.

VAR

On VAR duties is Constantine Hatzidakis who will be assisted by Stuart Atwell.

Hatzidakis has been an assistant referee at 284 Premier League games, whilst Atwell is a hugely experience referee who has been in the top flight for over ten years.
