West Ham United stay on the road as they head to Fulham in search of points in their survival fight. A 5-2 loss to Liverpool has not affected the Hammer’s league standings, as results elsewhere meant the team remains two points from safety.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s team failed to back up their recent defensive performances, but continued to create chances at Anfield. West Ham will know they have to shut up shop once again, and find the back of the net if they want to get all three points at Fulham tomorrow night.
Mateus Fernandes acknowledged the way they conceded goals against Liverpool was frustrating, whilst Crysencio Summerville also said the team have to take their chances, or are wasting their hard work. Both players will be key in this game if West Ham want to get out of the bottom three by full-time.
Marco Silva’s Fulham have won their last two Premier League games, including Sunday’s 2-1 over Tottenham Hotspur. The win does the Hammer’s a favour, keeping Spurs within touching distance of the relegation zone.
The Cottager’s are closing in on the European spots this season, and will want all three points just as much as Nuno’s West Ham needs them.

Prediction
Here, a handful of our writers give their prediction for the game…
Matt Bottomley
“West Ham head into this game knowing this is one of the matchups they have to target for three points. Fulham may be on form, but the Hammers need to see mid-table sides as one’s they can beat, and West Ham have the tools to do so, they just need the confidence.
“Marco Silva’s Fulham are starting to motor at the wrong time for the Irons. Harry Wilson is back to his best and West Ham will have to keep him away from the ball as much as possible in this game.
“West Ham need to start this game fast and stay on the front foot. If Fulham get control, they will win this game and Nuno’s team cannot let that happen.”
Prediction: Fulham 2-1 West Ham United
