West Ham loan ace Alex Kral has reportedly attracted interest from French Ligue 1 club Montpellier ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old joined the Hammers on a season-long loan deal from Spartak Moscow but has struggled to make an impact in London.
Despite having an option to sign the Czech Republic international permanently at the end of the season for £17million, that move seems unlikely at present.
According to a report from French publication Foot Mercato, as cited by Transfersgalaxy on Twitter, Montpellier could swoop for the defensive midfielder.

The report claims that the 29-cap man’s career ‘should not drag on’ at West Ham beyond the end of this campaign.
So far this term, Kral has made just six appearances across all competitions – playing just one minute in the Premier League.

Signing the £7.2million valued midfielder for the original mooted price had seemed like a no-brainer, to begin with.
However, fast forward to now and with just 136 minutes of football for David Moyes’ side, there is seemingly no chance that the Irons sanction the permanent move.
Whilst midfield reinforcement must remain high on the list of priorities at the London Stadium, Kral would appear to be far from the answer and a switch to France could be a better option.
