Former England striker Gary Lineker was left unimpressed by the decision to award West Ham a late equaliser against Leicester City.
The Hammers made the scoreline 2-2 when central defender Craig Dawson rose to steer the ball into the back of the net as the clock ticked onto 90 minutes.
Amongst the melee, the home side appealed to officials for handball but the 31-year-old celebrated regardless.

Following a VAR check, the goal did stand and Lineker – a Leicester City supporter – took to Twitter to lament the decision.
Still cannot believe it wasn’t given as handball. Dawson knew it went in off his arm by his reaction in the post match interview. One of those spells where everything is going wrong.

The point kept the Irons inside the Premier League top four, albeit only two clear of Arsenal who have three games in hand.
For Dawson, it’s now two goals in 31 appearances this season – a tally the defender will no doubt be keen to improve upon.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Whilst there can be no doubting that it’s far from the cleanest of headers, it does appear to be relatively high up on the arm and perhaps could even be deemed as the shoulder.
Either way, it was a rescue act from the £2.7million valued ace following another below-par display from David Moyes’ side.
Seemingly nobody is willing to grasp the nettle in the race for Champions League football, but with back to back home fixtures ahead, there is an opportunity for West Ham to steal a march.
