West Ham star Jarrod Bowen has once again been receiving plaudits as links with a big-money switch to Liveprool continue.
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form this season for the Hammers and has attracted the attention of Jurgen Klopp.
Despite going through one of his quieter games in recent weeks against Manchester United, the former Hull City man has remained a popular talking point.
Speaking on talkSPORT, ex-Republic of Ireland international Tony Cascarino suggested that Bowen could be the ideal candidate to replace a superstar on Merseyside.
I actually thought, if [Liverpool] lost Mo Salah, who could [they] logically go after? Well, the lad Bowen at West Ham ticks all those boxes because he’s tenacious, he chases everything and is decent technically, but not extraordinary. I keep thinking who would fit into that Liverpool frontline? Because Klopp loves those kinds of players in wide areas, who will chase and hassle players and will do the ugly things for their team, and will always get chances.
So far this season the man signed for £20million in 2020 (BBC) has scored nine times and provided 10 assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.

This is a link that simply refuses to go away.
Whilst in many ways it’s a compliment to the progress Bowen has made an Iron, it’s also a huge frustration to see key players eternally linked with departing the London Stadium.
Under contract at West Ham until 2025 (Transfermarkt), the club are at least protected and if necessary, would receive maximum value for their £31.5million valued ace.
Of course, Hammers fans will hope for further European exploits to keep their stars in situ.
