West Ham are reportedly ‘following’ ACF Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The Hammers were heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old in the summer but the deal failed to materialise.
Instead, the Serbia international extended a contract in Florence until 2023 and has remained a key player for La Viola.
According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, as cited by Sport Witness on Twitter, the Irons remain interested in the defender.

The report claims that West Ham were ‘very close’ to landing the 32-cap ace and are still ‘following’ with interest.
This season Milenkovic has scored twice in 18 appearances and earned a 7.14 Sofascore rating from 16 Serie A outings.

Valued at £20.7million (Transfermarkt), signing the Serbian for anything less than market value would be a huge coup for the Hammers.
Strong aerially and an experienced operator at the top level, Milenkovic would be a high-quality acquisition.
Albeit unlikely to be a deal that could happen this window, David Moyes should be attentive to each and every possibility.
