West Ham midfielder Conor Coventry is reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ over a move to League One side MK Dons.
The 21-year-old recently returned to the London Stadium after the Hammers recalled the ace early from a loan spell at Peterborough United.
Despite joining the Championship outfit on a season-long loan, the East London club opted to bring Coventry back having played 90 league minutes on just one occasion this term.
Now a report from Football Insider, as cited on Twitter, has claimed that West Ham are seeking an alternative solution for the Republic of Ireland starlet.

Prior to being recalled, Coventry – who was labelled ‘fantastic’ by Darren Ferguson – made 12 appearances in the second-tier.

With the likes of Mark Noble, Tomas Soucek, Alex Kral and Declan Rice in situ, another loan move would appear to be the only option here.
Highly regarded by those at West Ham, many will hope this latest loan switch can be the making of the London-born defensive midfielder.
Under a relatively new contract until 2023, the promising academy prospect needs to turn potential into performances in order to forge a career at the top level.
Hammers fans will no doubt watch the £270,000 valued Coventry’s progress with a keen eye.
