West Ham are reportedly in the running for the capture of QPR defender Rob Dickie.
The Hammers are believed to be keen on the 25-year-old but face fierce competition from Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Southampton.
Irons’ boss David Moyes is expected to bolster the defensive ranks this month following injuries to Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna.
Now a report from The Mirror (printed edition 03 January, page 46), as previously cited by West Ham Fan Zone on Twitter have claimed that West Ham could move for the centre-back.

The latest report claims that Newcastle are the frontrunners for the England Under 19 international but ‘bids’ may yet be forthcoming from elsewhere.
So far this season Dickie has scored four times in 28 appearances across all competitions – earning a 7.14 Sofascore rating in 24 Championship outings in the process.

Valued at £2.7million and under contract until 2024 (Transfermarkt), the former Oxford United man would be a bargain at the mooted £5million asking price.
Young enough to improve further and an impressive physical specimen, Dickie already boasts the fundamental attributes needed to succeed at the top level.
Despite being unproven at the elite level, Moyes has proven in the past to be willing to take a gamble on players from the second-tier and would likely view the Wokingham-born ace as a risk worth taking.
