West Ham are reportedly ‘eyeing’ a move for Borussia Monchengladbach striker Breel Embolo.
The Hammers are expected to consider signing a frontman in the January window having failed to replace Sebastien Haller for a year.
Embolo is the latest name linked with the Irons as David Moyes looks to bolster the options available at the London Stadium.
According to a report from The Sunday People (print edition January 2nd, page 56), as cited by Football Transfers on Twitter, the 24-year-old is on the radar in East London as well as on the south coast.

The report claims that the 50-cap Switzerland ace is under consideration at the Premier League clubs.
So far this season Embolo – described as possessing ‘lightning’ pace – has scored four times and provided another four assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £14.4million and under contract until 2023 in Germany (Transfermarkt), signing the Swiss forward would be an expensive outlay for the Hammers.
However, the versatility of the former FC Basel man would be of huge benefit to Moyes’ squad whilst also offering suitable support to Michail Antonio.
Possessing impressive dribbling and passing ability (WhoScored), Embolo should be among the leading contenders to arrive in East London.
